Well I have no personal experience :hubba: but the Welkom Beer Bar (Soi 2) used to have a fair bit of an afternoon reputation. I have yet to be in anywhere more seedy and 'open' that the King-Kong Bar (in Pattaya).

But you can do a bit of diddling anywhere - buy a few LDs and give a tip and you will be welcome to continue where you left off next visit. I have yet to venture more inland than than second road - but some of the posters here have pricked my interest.

Most places in Soi Yodsak, a place formerly called FU2 on Soi 6. A quiet corner of most go-gos!

The up-steps place on the alley from Soi Diamond, formerly the Tiger Bar. On the beach after 4am!

"a place formerly called FU2 on Soi 6."

I guess you mean the old Fxxk you 2 on Soi 6/1. They've replaced the f-word with Love... seems like all the obscene word at bars and other entertainment places had to change. The Pussy Galore on Soi Pattayaland is now called Hussy Galore...

Went to Tiger this past fall with some friends visiting from Germany. At first I missed the place since they removed the "Tiger a-go-go" sign. This was just a week or two after a police raid. Noticed that the door was locked from the inside and a guy was sitting by a monitor checking who was coming up the stairs...

Anyway, the show was the same as always and the beer was around 100 baht. Would be nice to know if they've increased prices for everyone or just for a selected few... :o

Hi!

I have been to Tigers since it was on the same soi as Lucky Star, I think in the same location as Blues Factory is now. I have never been scammed there before. I can't really say if it was a selected few but a bloke that sat down beside me was charged the same and was very upset about it. It could be that this was very close to xmas and they decided to bring in some extra cash. Anyhow the upstairs bar on the other side of the street is much seedier and thus much more fun. :)

I don't know if you have been in Pattaya long enough to remember ther bar on the spot before Tigers moved there. It featured mud wrestling and had a pool where naked ladies took foam baths. It was great fun to sit at the pool side, 2 feet away from the ladies, and help scrub their backs (or if it was fronts?) in the case that you bought them a lady drink. Unfortunately they priced themselves out of the market.

As a side note, the first time I was in the bar on the other side of the street three ladies were sitting on bar with thier legs spread and punters heads buried in their crotches. One of the geezers must have had the tip of his tung close to the ovaries. :grinyes:

Aren't seedy and depraved bars just great? (That was a rethoric question :neener:)

regards

ALHOLK

I don't think it is anywhere near the Blues Factory, that is further down Walking Street.

As to the expensive beer, well my last visit was around 100 baht too - but beware, if you are 'escorted' to the place, the guide will produce a special bill and ask for immediate payment.

Throw it on the floor.

This is not Patpong and rip-offs with heavies are scarce!
