Any idea/ first-hand info about the current situation? I heard, Martinis, Sharky are still going strong, km11 is still open (back-doors) and many airlines are still going there (from rumours, TG will open service after 14 th). rookie Posted February 10, 2003 Report Share Posted February 10, 2003 Cambodia is wonderful...and I don't mean just the gals. Exploring the small towns and villages is a great experience and I've found the Khmer (outside of the larger cities) to be more friendly than the Thai's...and they don't seem to look at you as just a walking wallet. I expect to return possibly as soon as late April and spend a month or two more of touring some areas I've yet to see by motorcycle.
