Raven
There was a thread on the Promenade in December - you can find it with the search option. Concensus seems to be that it is a good value at the 800 - 900 baht cash price. Rooms a little tired but adequate. Staff are fine. Guest friendly and good location. Far enough off Sukumvit to be quiet, close enought that you can walk everywhere. And a connecting lane to Soi 4 for a quick walk to NEP. For about 1100 - 1200, you can uprade to the Majestic. Much nicer rooms and lobby, but right on Sukumvit - a bit noisy but in the middle of the action.
