Yensabi Condo, Pattaya

Anyone with any knowledge of this condo block? I would be interested to hear how it is run etc.

Stayed there all of March. It's great: close enough to the action, and yet out of the way. The pool is a nice touch. Very guest-friendly. Guests are asked to leave their ID at the desk, and the ID is logged in a book. (If you have problems with the gay scene, you might want to consider elsewhere, however--the condo is just around the corner from one of the main areas, so the condo has it's share of gays.)

Cost was about THB 8600 for the month. Add utilities of about 3000 (Your cost may vary--I ran the a/c full-time.)

Maid service 2X week. No cooking in the rooms, but laundry and food is just outside the gate.

One hint: Look at several rooms. Each owner does his own decor thing, and sets his own price. I'm *sure* the person showing the room would *never* take a kickback for pushing a certain owner's piece o' crap room, but the furnishings can vary greatly, so it pays to shop.

Also consider which side to stay on. You know--sun in your face in the AM vs. afternoon-heat.
