Prefer the drip process where the water heats up and drips slowly through the coffee in a plastic filter and then into the pot. Friendship supermart in Pattaya have those Italian aluminium percolator things. Need gas heat for those. Tried Big C and Lotus in Pattaya but no luck. The drip coffee maker pots are too small ... lucky to fill one decent farang-style cup. Any stores sell these in Pattaya... or even Bangkok perhaps? lopburi3 Posted March 19, 2003 Report Share Posted March 19, 2003 Remembered to check my local Lotus store here in Latphao, Bangkok today and they had one large size 10 cup drip maker from Phillips for sale at about 1800 baht (Phillips seems to be going high price but have not noticed that they are any better quality than products at half the cost myself).
