Boo Radley Posted June 7, 2003 Report Share Posted June 7, 2003 Hi, I seem to remember a story from back in 1998 (?) where a couple of farangs (one was American, can't remember the nationality of the other) had the idea of going to Thailand and shooting some porn movies with bar girls/gogo girls. They then intended to sell them back in the West at a big profit. Anyhow, after several shoots in BKK they got caught by the Thai authorities who took a very dim view of what they had done. They were paraded in front of the press by the police for all to see. I still remember them trying to hide their faces from all the cameras. Needless to say, they finally ended up in a Thai prison. Funnily enough, when I tried searching the Bangkok Post archives for the story, I couldn't find it. Either my poor searching skills, or it had been deliberately removed. I also found some "amateur" porn movies made by a similar disgusting french guy (sure they were speaking the language of Moliere). So-called encounters shot in Pattaya's streets, followed by the deed in some hotel room. All girls seemed bargirls to me, suppose they got small money and probably not informed idea they would be on sale in sex shops over the planet. sayjann Posted June 7, 2003 Report Share Posted June 7, 2003 Hi Brink. i understand your problem,but i think no problems now. the Videos i have are from 2001 and the only disclaimer they have is that all the girls are over 18(and they look it,no way are they young)and all are available in Nanaplaza. it is a pity you never gave it a go,they are good quality and professionally shot. i know nothing of any reputation he may have,but if you saw the tapes,i think you would agree the girls are NOT underage. but not to say there are not tapes out there which may be a bit dodgy. but the good thing?,my Filipino friend likes watching the tapes and she finds them a turn on,good for me..... The other possibility would be that he was marketing more than one line of tapes. The one my buddy had was advertised as a tour of the Thai sex scene. I remember he said there was a lot of stuff on it about where to stay and where to eat along with sex venues and girls. You know more about that or just wanted to tell us that you got girls accept being videoed? Some people do that, not a big deal. The biggest commercial market up here in the UK is for DIY homemade porno films.If I wanted I could make enough to finnance my next two trips with the ones I have.But i won't out of respect for thr girls. Ever hear of the American who wrote the sex guide to Thailand and led tours here? He was declared persona non grata and is not allowed to enter the country anymore! (This was in a Patpong bar.) The gal had gone off to Denmark to make several porn flicks for what (to her) was a lot of money. Problems started when some politician heard about it and demanded the cops arrest her for defaming the country's reputation or something similar. The cops actually questioned the gal, but in the end decided that whatever she had done had been outside of their jurisdiction. She was let go. I know that incident frightened other gals from doing European porn for some time too. Apparently, the Patpong gal had been assured that the films would NEVER be seen in Thailand. (Yeah, right.) Nowadays, it obviously doesn't seem to matter. Or at least it won't until an election comes up and some politician needs an issue to get publicity.
