Guest
bohicasia-- Right, Anne was the former Asst to the RM. There is a new one now. Her name is Ms. Kwan Those rooms you describe in Tower #3 are called a Grand Suite.. It's a full 2-bed bedroom connected by a door to another room that has a sofa-sleeper, two or three sitting chairs and a coffee table. There is alos a four-person dining room table and small kitchette. This is all in the second room. Total size = approx 60 sq m. All the rooms bigger (in size) than this are become two bedroom & two bath types. Pavilion Suite @ 75 sq m and the Diamond Suite @ 75 sq m. --UPSer
Guest
Hi again and thanks to all. GP requoted me the internet rate of $536/wk for the room I wanted, a reduction of almost $200USD/week from their original quote. Anyone on this thread going to be in Bangers when I'm there from Jan 11 to the 20th, I owe you some drinks! Let me know, and many thanks again. Oh, it appears that Ann HAS indeed left President Park properties. Cheers and see you soon, I hope. Chicago Dave
Guest
chicago dave- I know that Anne Supaporn left last year summer time. I know this because I ran into her at the BKK airport as she and her new husband were leaving for Tokyo. She took a new job there and her spouse too. Ms.Kwan is the new Asst to the Resident Manager or RM.. She's just as good as Anne. --UPSer
Guest
Dear UPSer - I never met Anne face to face, but she was always very helpful and all to me via phone and email. Good luck to her and her new hubby in Japan, but wait till she sees the differences in the cost of living! This Ms. Kwan...she a hottie or anything?!?! Just kidding. Thanks. Guest
Hi Stayed at the GP just a couple of weeks ago. I liked it a lot. I stayed in a topaz in tower 3. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The night guard was always pleasant, and checked the girls cards. The location is perfect. easy walk to nana and thereme. Also close to the skytrain. I paid 1350 for a topaz. My only advice is try to get a corner room it is a bit bigger and has windows on two walls. #241, 341, 441 ect. enjoy. fatbastard33
I sent an e mail to the GP on 5 November about a reservation in January. Have not received a reply so sent another one on 13 November - still to receive a reply. Have I got the correct address: gpesa@ksc15.th.com. It is the one I have always used. Cheers Fatbastard33

CarlBkk
Dave, Without rubbing it in, I've been quoted £215 for a week in the Royal Suite at GP (using the above posters' correct tactics a couple of weeks back). Bargain of the century?
