If I had a local friend and I get him or her to book and check in a hotel room. What if I was staying and the management found out? Any experiences out there please?? Guest Posted December 9, 2001 Report Share Posted December 9, 2001 I had my Thai wife book a hotel room for my farang friends a while ago and after a bit of haggling was able to secure the Thai rate. She was up front with the fact that farang were the guests but it seemed like a bit of a hassle for them to budge on the Farang rate.
