Just flew back from Vancouver (to London) on Air Canada and in economy (coach) they were charging 5 $Can for spirits (but not beer or wine). chilli13 Posted August 17, 2003 Author Report Share Posted August 17, 2003 hmm you truly are a fat bastard then being upgraded on gold status on a different airline than your card! however I was pleasantly surprised by virgin atlantic on the london-shanghai route where they are happy to serve you aall the booze one can handle for FREE in coach while you indulge in the 40channel video on demand system with as large a screen as in SQ biz class :: Oh they don't even have grannies as crew but a rather nice european/chinese mix of lovelies absolutely recommended especially if holding SQ star membership which earns you miles on virgin flights now...
