Guest lazyphil
My mum bought a tape of nursery rhymes for the nipper, it was quite cute at first being that of young American kids singing songs like humpty dumpty and the Grand Old Duke of York (quite up-lifting hearing Americans singing about Great British warriors ), but its wearing a bit thin now as she insists on it being played everywhere, in the house, car, bedroom even at bathtime :: ::..I imagine ex pats have Thai songs for their children? limbo
Hi Phil, don't know about Thai children songs. My wife never mentiones them........... I had a cd sent over from Holland with tons of Dutch kiddie songs. She's still a bit young to understand it all, but I'm pretty sure this one will wear thin at some point also. Central Scrutinizer
LPhil, My daughter listens to Plub, a Thai child "Superstar" singer. Young boy, very intelligent and personable, but not a great singer. I find his vocals annoying as hell. Drives me nuts after a while! Need to buy her some damned headphones. bangkokbutcher
Cant help you with this one either I am afraid LP. The missus has never heard of any nursery rhymes or the like ever being sung to the little'uns back home. And I do recall her being quite surprised when I started reciting a few to our first nipper a while after he was born.
