spirit_of_town_hall
I have heard from various people that they will not go to work or travel today as its the second anniversary... Would you change your travel plans? STH
OCgringo
Last year I flew back from London to California on Sept 11th, the flight was pretty empty , Personally I picked that day , partly to tell "the bastards" that they were not going to change my plans with their terror activities. I think there should be a promation to fly on Sept . 11th
Guest
Flying on the 11th might be perfect timing in order to get good seats on a plan. When the SARS broke out, I flew on a ghost ship from LA to Taiwan. There was only 50 souls on the plane. 10 of the souls consisted of the crew. I found an empty row of seats. I lifted up the arm rest, found about 4-5 pillows, and 4-5 blankets. Laid down comfortably ans slept for about 12 hours. With the rumors that SARS may return this fall, there is a chance of a repeat of the above scenario.
spirit_of_town_hall
I would agree its probably the most safe way. I read in yesterdays newspapers that America had banned a number of Saudi pilots from flying in to USA. I think now thats the only way they could repeat what they did, ie have a genuine pilot who wants to fly his plane in to a building... STH

Redbaron
There was a lot of empty seats during the SARS fiasco. Everyone except me reported empty rows to sleep in during my last trip (May). Thai Inter were almost full for MY flights in and out of BKK. Redbaron
To rub salt into the wound i used my FF points to get the trip free, instead of paying a ridiculously low fare. Don't know what I was thinking. Thai Inter couldn't accept my application for the free flight quick enough.
