Yes I enjoyed Apaporn's performance, although I was quite taken aback by an earlier part before she came on stage, when a group of comedians thought it was funny to fondle a naked 5 year old boy on stage. To think that this apparently is publicly acceptable behaviour, while a "minister of silly ethics" is concerned about consenting adults showing off their bodies in public! Maybe he should first try and do something about sexual abuse of children on stage, before trying to clean up the gogo world. Sorry, I know, no politics. Anyway my question: I'm in BKK from last night until Oct 16, trying to find more life Morlam concerts. I looked on Jintarafanclub, and that has no dates after Oct 8! Only the day before someone updated the website, with a not that she'd be perfoming at rangsit, near the shopping mall, whatever than meant. I asked my hotel (GP) to phone and try and find out excactly when and where etc, but they couldn't find anything, said whoever they phoned didn't know about it. So I printed out the palce in Thai from the website, went to a bar in SC where I know a girl who wanted to see her, and asked how to get there. Her friends husband is a taxidriver, and was commandeeed to take us there. Past the airport, delayed because of APEC related police operations, got there 10.15, nothing. Cabbie asked a few guys hanging around, who said it was at 5.00 in the afternoon. We almost were resigned to go home, when cabbie spotted a motocy driver, and said "if anything, he'll know. Came back, it was just 200 m down thw road. Small open air venue, maybe 300-400 people, still doing their comic acts on stege when we got there. . cabbie decided to stay and wait for us, so we shouted him a ticket too. Just afetr 11.oo Jintara came on, and did two slots of about 25 mins each. Dressed in a fairly simple tight red jeans and top, looking stunning. I couldn't resist following the many who offered her a garland, which almost stopped the show, she was quite amazed to see a falang here. So I got to touch the "Supastah's" hand (won't wash now for a week :-), was asked where i came from, and why I was there. Wish I'd brought a CD to sign. In the end I was almost embarrassed, because she and her 'manager' just wanted to keep talking, with very little to say, must prepare better for this kind of thing. Got a freebee present of a couple of bottles of shampoo from her, obviiously a shampoo producre as sponsor. And justified, her hair looked great, and she's really very cute from close up. In the end, my GF came and rescued me, almost dragged me away to great hilarity of those on stage and the crowd. Anyway, I don't mind making a fool of myself in public. It was all worth it, she did all my favourite songs, and her moveemnts are just yummy. Thanks for the reference to the website. It shows today a whole lot more until Oct 24, except it doesn't show that she also performs tonight, But I forgot to write down where. BTW, it appers Siriporn is performing somewhere near central BKK on the 17th, but i can't work out where. Anyone here who knows?? Went on my own that night, BTS to morchit then a taxi.The 'manager' is the moderator he works for her in the troupe. I was out in the sticks in a place with very limited email contact for about three weeks, and haven't been able to log on to the board. back in BKK for a few days now. About the siriporn BKK concert, now obsolete, I heard it from a 'friend' somewhere, but couldn't find out more, so missed it. I also heard on the same grapevine that there is a concert this sunday nite at prakanon. Anyone who can confirm this?
