Guest
Could somebody recommend a reasonable hotel (800B - 1500B)with no hassles for guests in Ciangmai? Thanks!!
Guest
Yes, I'm after the same thing. I have to go up there with my folks over Christmas and new year. They're already booked into the Westin. Phil, Your folks will love the Westin, its an amazing hotel, I would stay there on my monthly trips but like to be able to walk from the hotel to the main "attractions" Cheers Roger Cheers [ June 04, 2001: Message edited by: Roger ]
Chanchao
Diamond Riverside 700 baht, big tourist class hotel. Book through their BKK office or at the Chiang Mai airport hotel reservation desk. (NOT Bangkok reservation desk) Or Porn Ping Tower hotel. Around 900 I think. Both excellent locations; do a search on the web for details. bgtp
I actually like the Felix City Inn for 700 baht with breakfast. Major drawback is the twin beds. What I like most about this place is that it's in an old, quiet part of the city with hardly any tourists around. It is still fairly easy to walk to the nighlife or 50 baht tuk-tuk ride. No problem with guests. [ June 14, 2001: Message edited by: bgtp ]
samori1
I always use Porn Ping. Book double in old wing and ask for room on one of the higher floors, to avoid noise from disco. Fair accomodation good price, no need to book exept at peak periods, well positioned, no guest hassle and booking includes breakfast for you and guest.
