Guest Posted June 10, 2001 Report Share Posted June 10, 2001 Hi guys, Does anyone have any experience with the Welcome Plaza hotel? The rates seem kind of reasonable for the rooms and location. Anyone know if they are guest friendly? Have to book something in Pattaya by Sunday and want to stay somewhere near the Dusit where I have some friends.(but cant afford to stay there this time) Thanks for any help. Normally you have to pay for guests, I think it was 200/300 Baht, but I never did or should I say I refused to pay. After a while they did not bother me anymore. They do check ID and keep it till the guest has left the building. Once again one of my guests did not have id on her, but the security did not mind. They know me there. 800Baht is a steep rate for such a room, so last years I stayed at other places. Hope you can find some answers here..
