gawguy
I want to make sure this is not a problem. I want to use my ATM card here as usual to withdraw about $3,000 from my USA dollar account. I want to leave the money here in a baht account. I want to do this in case the dollar goes a lot lower. I have no questions about any of this. My question is: I want to make sure that if I have a problem in the USA and can't come back for some time that I can withdraw the money through an ATM in the USA. My Bangkok Bank ATM card has a PLUS symbol on it and a DEBIT symbol as well. My Bank of America ATM card has a PLUS symbol also. I am thinking "no problem" but I don't want any nasty surprises. Does anyone know of any problems? GG
Pianoman
No Problems!!!!!! I have a Bangkok Bank Account into which I have business proceeds deposited weekly... Whenever I want I can check balances or withdraw (up to limits per day) from any ATM here in the US... I have done this regularly for the past 4 years...
