follies
Anyone have any advice on these? Where is the best place to find them?
phiketpete
By coincidence traelocity just sent me their newsletter-- no real help IMO. However 2 sites you should try www.airbrokers.com www.highadv.com and click on airfares
phiketpete
They are all over. With the growth of alliances amongst the airlines the airlines themselves even produce brochures. Check their sites. For instance One World & Star Alliance. UAL even offers its own as they have recently reintroduced its BKK to India(Delhi i beleive) flight. So now it is possible to circumnavigate the world on one carrier. However you need to keep checking airlines more and more often are making changes to routings. for instance in the spring UAL, Cathay and Continental announced the introduction of a New York - HK direct flight ( previously Cathay stopped in Vancouver). Last week both Cathay and UAL announced it was being discontinued. Round the world flight can offer substantial savings but there are restrictions including a minimum number of stop overs so read the small print. Another option you might want to look at is one wherby at least some of the US carriers offer a ticket price for a certain number of miles. It does not have to be around the world. It does not have to be therefore in on direction only. Bottom line IMO is to talk to the airline first directly. Then armed with some information try the travel agents and the websites such as travelocity
