Train Service Question??

Please advise the best place in Bangkok (which station?) for quick transfer to Nana Plaza area.

The only timetable I have found would suggest you should get off at Don Muang(and depart north?) and simply catch a cab in.

Am I reading this correctly?

Another consideration would of course be any information about BTS stations near any of the Bangkok stops.

Cheers and thanks in advance....

(to complicate or entice further replies, any comparison of Train vs. Bus on the northern routes to northern Thailand much appreciated. the tickets apx the same, transfers is the interest)(flying is OUT due to same)

The Central Station (Hualampong Railway Station)? Might stick you into traffic-jam, but many bus/ taxi-connections. Afair, the most nearby BTS-Station is MBK or Stadium.
