ranma500
I decided to come out to BKK just after Christmas, but flights are already very full. I like to go Thai or Star Alliance to save up the air miles, but flights were incredibly expensive. But... It looks like the least popular Thai Airways route is Athens - Bangkok, and it is a lot cheaper - and it still had seats. So, I have booked BA to Athens, then Thai from there. £

Guest
swishtz-I flew with aeroflot jan.1999 on there 777, one slight problem being, that they had configured the seats in charter style with a 28 inch seat pitch. There were guys who had no option but to stand the whole flight, as they were in window seats etc and could not sit down unless bolt upright. When you reclined the seat, the leg support section moved forward, jamming you further against the seat infront.I subsequently flew home on cathey on a one way ticket, and eventually got a partial refund on the aeroflot ticket. Never again even if it meant no more los, thats how bad it was.
BlazingStarz
rastus - sounds bad, i hear that things have been improving with them, so maybe since 99 they have gotten better. Anyone else know ?
