This assumes that you'll be traveling first or second class.. some trains have a third and even fourth class... I PAY THEM for me NOT to ride in 3rd or 4th class.... By the time you calcualte the time spent and $$, I think you're better off getting a bucket-shop BKK-SIN air ticket..
