Torneyboy
Ma Ma Noodles and Wai Wai Noodles: Discovered these on my recent stay for a short break with some thais at a beach holiday destination in Sydney. You can have with hot water or just from the packet as a snack. A little spicey...but good with a drink (wine or whiskey). My wife said she has often at home ..i didn''t try them...but now i like very much. Like beer nuts with a drink i guess..but at one THB a packet a hell of a lot cheaper...AUD.40c

Pescator
Hi Torneyboy, Yeah, I really like them too. MaMa, YumYum and Wai Wai. I can buy them here in my country as well- Denmark - at the local thai store. I actually buy them by the box containing 25 packets at some 450 bht. I especially like the MaMa Dtom Yam, really great if you add some veggies like spring onions and eat them with a couple of slices of bread. 1 baht a packet? I seem to recall that they are 5 baht a packet, not that it matters though. They do however contain Porng Chue Rot (MSG) 12 grammes of fat and 2 grammes of sugar, so it isn`t something I would eat everyday. Pescator
Hi Thalenoi, Well, if you had to pay in excess of 250 bht (as do I on my present location) for a Gwiddeo I suspect you may take a liking to the MaMa/YumYum/WaiWai too Cheers Hua Nguu
