markle Posted January 7, 2004 Report Share Posted January 7, 2004 The closest approximation would be 'harng' as in 'harng supasingka' which is technically department store but most department stores have now devloped into malls. Part of the reason they aren't called malls is that one enterprising company went and called their retail outlet "The Mall' and precluded anybody else using the term.
