sinsin2 Posted October 9, 2001 Report Share Posted October 9, 2001 Security Notice Following 11th of Sep. terrorist attacks in the United States of America, a number of additional security measures have been enacted that are required by various authorities world-wide. 1.The following items are forbidden to be carried on board. Billiard, snooker or pool cues Catapults (Shang-hi, sling-shot) Corkscrews with blades attached Darts Household cutlery of any kind Knitting needles Knives with blades of any length (including steel nail files) Paper knives Razor blades Scissors of any size Sport bats (including rackets, cricket bats and golf clubs, baseball bats) Toy or replica guns (plastic or metal) Trademen's tools Hypodermic syringes* *passenger who require the use of hypodermic needles for medical reasons (for example, diabetics and passenger with allergies), will be asked for proof of medical need. If you carry any of the above items (with exception of hypodermic needles), you will be asked to place it in your check-in baggage. If you do not have check-in baggage you will be asked by security officer to surrender the item to EVA Airways for disposal. 2. Beside valuable items, travel documents or other must be carried items, please check-in all your baggage including trolley, large sports bag etc… Enhanced security will also be in place for screening of carry-on baggage at the boarding gate.
