Torneyboy
Hi Have been watching some Thai movies of late to see how i am going with tones/understanding etc. Watching tonight Volume 1 ...Fasion Alway Important Aut Spirit More...words from the VCD case!! not mine Should be i think Fashion always important but spirit more important?? Anyway a very funny movie..about volleyball and ladyboys :: Have vol II as well. Re tones ...well still trying....frustrating to say the least. You think you have nailed a word and when you hear in quick speech such as a movie ...mai de mark Repetition repetition
Guest
I know what you mean, my gf has been teaching me to speak Thai a little and just when i think I have something perfected I fall flat on my face again!!!
markle
A word of warning. Satree Lek is full of 'katoey'(ladyboy) speech, so don't go imitating everything you hear, or all the Thais might start to wonder about you. Also the slang and sexual innuendo is very obscure I was lost without a clue a lot of the time. As for the blurb on the back, this was a 100 baht DVD right?
