Guest
Was in River City yesterday and was surprised one item was selling for 42000 baht. Of course when I looked at it, the sales person said she could lower the price. What I found surprising was I have purchased the same item from the manufacture. The manufacture has never told me I could buy it for less. I have been forced to pay the same price as everybody else - 250 baht. This item has been the highest marked up item (percentage wise) of any product I have seen in Thailand.

elef
Hi OCgringo, in River City Shopping Complex they're mostly selling arts and antiques so I guess 42000 baht is quite possible, but not 250 baht! :: Let's wait for the MightyMouse to explain! elef

Flashermac
Probably. River City has lots of antiques shops. Some of those Russian hookers go back to the tsar's days.
