thalenoi Posted November 27, 2001 Report Share Posted November 27, 2001 Swissair went not "tits up", Crossair took over most of their activities, the banks did not show up fast enough with agreed fundings, Swisair decided to stop flying for 48 hours. Crossair is flying Swissair planes, just saw a Swissair DC11 in BKK yesterday and a friend flew in with them last thursday. Similar story with Sabena, the Belgian airline, they really went into bancrupcy and most operations are taken over by DAT, a daughter company.
