MrX
I use visa delta all the time in Thailand's Automatic Telling Machines (ATMs)......no problems yet
chelseafan
I used to have solo, but understand they are phasing those out now (according to halifax). My new card is a visa delta, the bank said "should be able to".....that doesn't give me confidence.

francie34
No problem can use it anywhere you see a visa sign. That is all I have used for the last 5 years If you can get one from nationwide they dont charge you a couple of quid withdrawl fee. chelseafan
Damn, sorry, just looking at my cash card and it's a Visa Electron, anyone know if they work out there ? Cheers
chilli13
same same mate! all that matters is the VISA - the electron is for UK payments no? so look for visa symbol on the ATM's & they should reward you handsomely as long you got funds ok? there's basically 2 systems & 2 type of cards in this world: network systems master(cirrus)/visa(delta) & credit cards or debit/atm/cash cards virtually all enabled to withdraw cash globally(well not really in 3rd world countries like cambodia yet LOL) it's just a matter of the charges incurred... as mentioned if travelling a lot the nationwide has the best deal
