rickfarang
"...aged between 13 and .... ..required to find the addresses of sites deemed pornographic,.. " Do you mean to say that the government is having teen-agers scour the web for pornography? Aren't these the very ones they are purport to protect? Come to think about if for a second, I guess I was at my at my peak, as far as spotting pornography when I was in my teens. Of course we didn't have photographs back then, only a few postcards grandpa sent from Europe...
Guest
WTF kind of logic is this: "help build a clean web site environment for youths". This is like forcing all theatres to play only rated G movies. How hard is it to understand the web is not just used by kids so making Thailand's internet just kiddie web sites only limits its usefulness to everyone else. Don't they know there is plenty of parental lock software out there that is finished and ready to use? This is the best of both worlds--perfect protection for youths and perfect freedom for adults. If they want to get fancy, preinstall it on systems sent to home users and have "rated G" machines at internet cafe's.
