pattaya127
hard to remember, they played in the same venue in Paris within a week. I am 90% sure it was Roxy music, 1972, then MC5 the week after. yes, i do remember now: Roxy as first. I thought the people in the audience were positively ugly. MC5 was a riot baptism. the hells angel near the stage started to get annoyed, and cleant the hall in a sec. Concert ended after 30 minutes. prior to that, MC5's Wayne Kramer had started the gig with RAMBLIN' ROSE, mosrite guitar and all... Yoohoooo!. Redbaron
Hard to remember... it was either Pink Floyd (Delicate Sound tour) or Billy Joel. Both were huge.
Guest lazyphil
My dream is to see PF live--forget the Mersey beat, this is the Cam beat, i.e. Cambridge, Gilmore is one of me homeboys :: btw, T,Pau was my first live gig at the Hammersmith Odeon, sang one song and stopped as Carol Decker lost her voice, divine intervention me thinks! Saiphon
The Yardbirds, with BOTH Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck circa 1965 in Birmingham, England. They were kind off competing with each other on the technical/showmanship/posturing front and it was great.
Guest
Roger and the Rear Entries, Embassy rooms, London. It was their first concert too (at least one you had to pay for), and I believe their last, they did make a single, Walking. The B side was I Saw Jah, but misprinted on the label and read I Saw Jam
