sayjann Posted June 16, 2004 Report Share Posted June 16, 2004 'Teenagers fail to act after man burnt in fire in Portsmouth 15 Jun, 2004, 8:19 A group of teenagers simply looked on and did nothing as a man almost burnt to death whilst lying on a bench in Portsmouth Anthony Whiting, who's 62, is this morning fighting for his life in the Queen Alexandra Hospital after the bench was set alight. Staff operating security cameras at Leigh Park in Havant saw that he was on fire and called the emergency services. Around 15 teenagers aged 12 to 16 were seen watching it happen but did nothing to help. Queen Alexandra Hospital is where i work and i was on duty when the Guy was bought in. left it for others to deal with as they need the experience.
