Guest
I just bought a ticket for my first trip to LOS and am wondering if I need anything besides my passport when I arrive for a 2 week stay. Do I need to apply for a visa or anything before I leave? Thanx.
Guest
You'll be issued a 30-day visa on arrival usually depending on the country you come from. USA, UK Europeans get 30 days. Danes get 90. For longer stays you need to get a tourist visa in your home country from the Thai Embassy. This is good for 2 months. Dan
ALHOLK
Hi! I'm not sure but I think you're confusing Danes with Norwegians. Denmark in difference to Norway is a member of the EU and they probably get 30 days like the rest of us. regards ALHOLK
spirit_of_town_hall
Hello, I think its the Finns who get a 90 day visa on arrival. I know because last year I met a became friends with a Finnish guy, you may have seen him yourself in Samui and Bangkok. He would walk around blind drunk all the time with no top on near the Thermie. He was a chef you worked for 3 months and then came to LOS for 3 months. I think the Finns have 90 days because they let Thais in automatically unlike every where else it seems.
