remember when?

I am so old I remember when the little girl flower sellers where scruffy little Cambodian or Burmese kids,now, well sitting in the food place opposite the Soi 7 Beer garden I see the "little kid" flower sellers take a break from their arduous duties and haul out their minature Erricsan and Nokia mobiles for chat with ? not close enough to hear but one was speaking in very good English to someone. obviously a lucrative occupation !
