Guest Posted January 1, 2002 Report Share Posted January 1, 2002 If anyone has recent experience renewing an expired Class "O" (Spouse) visa at the Thai embassy in Ventienne, I would like to know how many days it takes, assuming arrival into Ventienne on a Tuesday morning. I'm an American, married to a Mukdahan lady, and we have an 18 month old son, born in BKK. Also, any "lessons learned" or other good advice is welcome. An earlier thread referred to a posting by Fatbastard concerning visa runs to Laos, but I could not locate such a post. Happy New Year! "Let the good times roll!" Guest Posted January 2, 2002 Report Share Posted January 2, 2002 Why go to Vientiane to renew your 'O', a mate of mine did it in the Immigtation Office in Bangkok. No need to leave the country at all. This was 4 years ago by the way, he has since returned to U.K. so apologies if the rules have changed.
