Guest Posted March 1, 2002 Report Share Posted March 1, 2002 I guess I should elaborate a little more about my dilemna here. I have basically ZERO clue about how to do things here. I live in Taiwan now but think I will go back to the US to in some time to get a master's degree. My concern is that I do not know what to do about the woman. I would like to bring here to Taiwan for awhile until I leave. I have had minimum experience in dealing with the visa. My approach would be to enroll her as a student which normally gets the job done assuming she has the funds to live. This is the way it is done by farangs but I don't know about what would happen in the situation of a Thai. My other concern is what will I do if i go to the US for studies. From what I read it appears that it is nearly impossible to bring her back to my home. Any advice??? One idea I had was Singapore. This could be a country to work or study in and probably more Thai friendly in terms of visa and proximity to home country. Just trying to think things through here.
