Pescator
Hi Cactus, The inexpensive accomodation is rarely represented on the web. The cheapest accomos on Phi Phi were always on Haat Yao or Long Beach. Maphrao Beach or Coconut Beach used to have some good deals as well, but Long Beach is probably still your best bet. It is also the choice of the backpackers. Note however, that you get what you pay for! Palm thatched roof, mosquito net, no toilet in the hut, murky water at the well etc. But it suited me just fine. There were several concrete bungalows as well, that looked quite decent. Long Beach is situated south of Ton Sai and you get there by Longtail boat from the main pier. You can walk as well but not while dragging your luggage along. Cheers Hua Nguu
