Did a booze cruise to Esjberg in Denmark about 20 years ago. Funny clubs there. One had bar stools like saddles and swinging saloon style doors. Probably for all the Danish cowboys. Another was called the Andy Capp bar. Apparently that crap newspaper strip must have been popular there. Ended up in a late opening nightclub, The Viking Bar, where it didn't really get kicking until 3am. Very attractive women.

Made it to the real Legoland. Quite impressive. Well worth spending a few hours. Must have taken them ages to put all the things together. When I was a nipper the best I could make with lego was a wall. Never did get the hang of it.

One thing I remember that was quite an eyeopener was that in some of the streets in Esjberg we noticed vending machines on the wall. Thinking they were chocolate bar vending machines we were most surprised to find that they were hardcore pornography dispensers.

Lots of Danish au pairs on the ferry back to Harwich with their lovely little wooden sticks dangling the Danish flag. Still got one somewhere, souvenir Danish flag from an au pair, not the au pair herself. :D
