SiLeakHunt
The Halfway House is like Piccadily Gardens before they did it up except with a roof and walls. Cheers

Sukhumvit
Looks like I'll be in London this weekend/Monday/ Will be busy all days but free in evening and will be hooking up with ex gf. Have done loads of the Chinese places round Wardour St when used to live in the smog and also have experimented with Vietnamese up by Hoxton Square. Any of you London boys have decent Thai restaurant recommendations in West End/N. London, not too far away from Bloomsbury? I am prepared to pay up to £5.00 per head. TIA etc.
spirit_of_town_hall
I'm afraid you wont get much Thai food for 5 pounds. If that is a strict budget then head for Tuk Tuk on Charing Cross Road... If you can pay say 15 pounds a head I would recommend Thai Metro in Fitzrovia.... Charlotte Street I think.. Sukhumvit
SJ/STH Cheers guys. Will check 'em out. Thaipavillion looks intriguing. I note Cliff Richard eats there. Might pop down there and ask him if he ever jumped Oona Stubbs, or Melvin Hayes for that matter. ::
