One bedroom apt?

My Thai girlfriend (not a bar girl) wants to move out from her parents house and into an apt. (somewhere along Sukhumvit). She wants a one bedroom apt for the sum of 4000 baht. Is she dreaming? If anyone has any suggestions please post them.

Thank you.

B4K will buy a single room, sometimes with aircon, anywhere near Sukhumvit or the Skytrain. One bedrooms can be had for 7 to 8 thousand, but they are generally in areas only convenient to bus routes, such a Union Tower on Petchabury Rd between Eckami and Thong Lo. Anything convenient to the Skytrain will be 10 Thousand plus.

Someone just posted a list of reasonable apartments this past week. Check out the accomadations section.
