I listened to this broadcast.

 

The muslims are hard done by and oppressed. No one knows who is responsible for the bombings, shootings and machete killings, but it's an understandable reaction to them not caring much for Mr Thaksin......

 

The broadcast was produced by a Malaysian Muslim Academic.

 

Of course Malaysia would have no interest in the destabilisation of the southern provinces, leading to an extension of its influence if not its territory northwards; especially iif they ever get round to digging that ship canal through the narrow part!
