Torneyboy
Hi all. Nice day 28c about 6000-7000 attended the day at Darling Harbor. The food stalls were far better than last year imo. Not as many cultural displays...but enough to show off what Thailand has to offer. Nat Meria was a NO show ..no reasons given btw. So we ended up with: Tony Jarr,Bungkot,Mum'jockmok...stars fo the Tom Yum Goong Movie Thai bands playing on and off all day...some cute singers..but no announcements as to who they were. The day got a little warmer for my wife so she goes off and buys a Thai umbrella AUD $15.oo ..i have at least ten of these in my office Next we go and see a few stall holders and see how they are going etc. Belmores..a communication display had a spin the wheel bingo game going...so my wife buys three games (one for each of us)...after a few numbers i saw what the prize was...a case of mangos, coconut milk,Thai soy sauce, and a bag of rice...."why did you want to go in this game?..you own a restaurant full of this stuff ..sanook was the answer i got. The beauty competition was good with 20 entrants this year. So back to the stage to see..Sunny U Four Panita and Dancers...and the rock Dance Concert show. Then off home with the worlds most expensive umbrella Overall..a good day out to see something of Thai culture.
