arkutha
We last beat Norway with a very average side a few years ago. Our current side is 100% better. however this is a friendly and both teams will use as a build up for the forthcoming WC qualifiers. Take care Arkutha
check_bin_krap
Yes, in 1997. That was on your home turf. We never meet in anything else than friendlies, its not like Australia feature regulary in the World cup. Cheers, and may the best team win! naughtyboy
Other than 1974 th Socceroos were never in World Cup Finals so it is pretty difficult for any European team to meet them in anything other than a friendly. Reading this thread makes me wonder will the streets in Oslo be deserted tomorrow night, and no early morning rush hour in Australia.
check_bin_krap
There is interest in our national team these days. We are doing well. As for Australian interest? Nada I guess! I will watch out for Kewell and Viduka (nick name pies), they played for my team before. Cheers!
arkutha
So will I, as they played for my beloved LUFC Both have not set the world on fire with their respective new teams Especially Harry who on his day is a world class player. His performances for Liverpool have been very average to say the least.Must be carrying injury. Take care
check_bin_krap
As my team is Arkutha. We have just one Aussie left at Leeds now, Jamie McMaster. He isn't even listed in the first team squad - usually loaned out. Its a pity. He is a skillful player, but the current manager prefers geriatric old ones. I want Blackwell out. I think LUFC forced McMaster to choose England or Scotland at a point, and it caused an uproar in Australia. They were too bored releasing players for international duty. I wish Harry all the best, and hope he regaines his form. He is a world class player. Cheers!
