Torneyboy Posted November 21, 2004 Report Share Posted November 21, 2004 Found this in our local Thai-Oz paper today Word for word Ingredients: 3 1of2 cups of coconut milk 1 cup sugar 1of2 cup water :: Preparation: 1. place the sugar and water in a pot and heat until the sugar dissolves. If necessary,filter the solution through cheesecloth to remove any foreign matter and then return to the heat. Continue heating to obtain a syrup thick enough to stick to a wooden,paddle;then,remove from the heat. 2. When the syrup has cooled somewhat but is still warm,add the coconut milk and stir to mix well. 3. Pour the solution into an ice cream freezer and crank about 45 minutes,or until staff. Coconut milk ice cream must be kept cold because it melts rapidly .
