OCgringo
Just wondering if anyone knew someone who got a green card thru the USA visa lottery. Looks like its just a way for internet scammers to take money from poor people who want to go to the USA ? Do we need to set up a small table at Nana plaza and sign up all the BGs ? dsab
Isn`t the green card lottery free of charge. All the companies who are charging for it don`t really do anything for their money. To answer your question.... yes, a thai friend of my wife won the green card 2 years ago, but didn`t take it in the end, as she got promoted shortly before, and didn`t wanna leave her (very well paid) job after that. JAYBLOOM
There is a TG here in Denver who came via the visa lottery. She has been here for about 5 years. The odds of winning the lottery are decent, but most Thais are too damn lazy to get off their asses and do something to help themselves. They want the falang to do everything for them and then send a taxi to take them to the airport to come to America. Jay
jasmine
Yes, a few people. However, the ones I met are all females, not a male, I wonder why? Jasmine

Jay [/color] Oh Jay, what is the "white knight" supposed to do? We just want you to feel needed, that is all Count your blessings that you are not required to ride the horse to pick a woman up and take her to the airport, ok? That reminds me of a woman who got married in Lampang. She actually was picked up by a horse-drawn cart to take her to the airport, it was romantic, to say the least.
