How long and how much will it cost to hire a car to get me to Phnom Penh. Also does anyone know how long and how much a flight is from Saigon to Phnom Penh. Sukhumvit Posted December 17, 2004 Report Share Posted December 17, 2004 Wouldn't bother hiring a car for self drive. Get a coach. No need to fly. Spend some time in the Delta. Interesting towns. Was followed through the streets of some rat infested hell hole by a geezer trying to tout his crying wife a few years ago. Chicks on motos cruising for action. Go over to Sam Mt on the VN/Cambo border if you're into temples and stuff. Great views from the top. Lots of little temples on the hill going up and at the top. You look over into Cambo.
