adikgede Posted January 3, 2005 Report Share Posted January 3, 2005 Disaster assistance is not a good time to begin volunteering. Coordinating fresh recruits is a burden. My guess is that the only unskilled labor needed at the moment is getting corpses squared away. Send money and think about volunteering again six months to a year down the road when people start to forget about last years disaster.
