asdf
There are brief descriptions of some of these at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mor_lam#Forms . Most of these are very rarely heard nowadays, even in darkest Kalasin. The regional styles, I believe (but don't quote me), are general styles which can be applied to various forms, so you can't say how lam ubon is different from lam glawn: you would just have lam glawn played in the ubon style. In theory you might be able to say how the ubon style differs from the khon kaen style, but English may not have the right vocabulary.
Nervous_Dog
I have some pics I took of a country morlam in issan last weekend I'll post in Silver section this week, very very rough stuff (Morlom, and oics!) DOG
thai3
I had forgotten about that site but tend to distrust these online encyclopeadias as stuff gets added from various sources without being checked out. I'm not sure where the list is from as I have not seen it anywhere else, it's not in the rough guide written by J Clewley (SEA sections). Having listened to a few things today I think there must be various names for as good as identical styles, at least I can't tell much difference between some of them-peter

Nervous_Dog
Peter - I have NO IDEA! It was a very ratty collection of people and katoeys, a travelling carnival more than a morlam, no one even vaguely famous, the crowd was huge, about 120 people tops! Still, I think you'll like the pics DOG
