soppy Posted January 25, 2005 Report Share Posted January 25, 2005 while trawling the bars in singapore recently i ended up in joo chiat st (sp?0 not far from east coast road, the street had heaps of bars all over the place, it was a neon light salesmans wet dream. most bars seemed much of a muchness, sports bars, karoke, pool, but they seemed to attract vietnamese girls in larfe numbers. one, blue lagoon, had door notices posted in viet while some others insisted on passport checking foreign, read viet bird, passports no idea of prices mind, i was too busy getting bladdered... It's mostly a place for blue collar Singaporeans and as an ang moh, you are made to feel very unwelcome when you enter. As you said, the girls are mostly Viets and some are quite cute. I think the price is S$150-S$200 short time. I had an ang moh friend that used to take girls from there but he said many of the girls with regular customers don't go with white guys becuase their regular customers would stop taking them out. I find Soppy's little anecdote very hard to believe - at least in that neck of the woods. The Singapore P4P gals may not be LA streetwalkers (thank God..), but most of them didnt come down in the last shower. If anyone lost $10, chances are it was Soppy.
