KhunJack
I need to do a VISA run soon. Does anybody know if it still possible at the small Buri Ram -> Cambodia border. Thanks
kwai_hai
Yes it is certainly possible. I did it in December last year. But the thai immigration guys were all boozed up at 3pm (no trouble but they take ages to fill out the book, no computers) and the Cambo's hit up up for 1200 THB to enter and an additional 300 THB to exit (if you only stay for the day). Complaints only get a smile and they close the office window on you. You pay or you are stuck in no mans land. I would suggest getting the Cambo visa in Bangkok. You only save 200 THB but at least these arseholes don't get it. Good luck.
