Bkkbound04
The paypal system does not allow for a withdrawal to a thai bank acount, it has to be a US account. Thats the end of that for now. JP
Zorro
I don't know why you don't transfer the money via the internet facility that most banks offer these days. Easy and secure. I pay approx 10 dollars US regardless of the amount and the bank makes on the exchange rate of course.
Guest
I recommend Visabuxx: https://usbank.visabuxx.com/index.cfm? It's a debit card. Costs $2 to deposit funds up to $1500. Costs $1.50 to take them out of any ATM in Thailand. Maximum daily withdrawal limits. Never evaluated the exchange rates. No problems with frozen accounts, however. Banks at least are somewhat regulated. Khun Pad Thai
Guest
PayPal and a lot of other payment services won't keep your account open if there are transactions involving SE Asia, if you are based in SE Asia and a lot of other countries. Too much fraud. Most people just send their lady an ATM card on a bank account (in the home country) used only for that purpose and then just deposit money when they want her to have access to it.
