Ckrisg
Guys Can anyone update me or sign a website for info, tried the Chinese embassy website but it always seems to be down. The Chinese consulate here in Manchester UK will only give info for UK Nationals, strange but true. Will be flying to HK from Bangkok if it makes any difference. dsab
She doesn`t need a Visa. Thais will get a visa on Arrival. I think it is valid for 30 days, IIRC. Have fun. DSAB

Guest
More accurately, Thais are entitled to visa-free entry to HK for a period of up to 30 days.
Ckrisg
Thanks for the replies Just got an email back from the Chinese Embassy, 30 days for Thai no need for visa and 180 days no visa for me. So nice easy trip to HK.
Guest
Note: depending on how you present yourselves, the phase of the moon, the mood of the inspector, etc, she may get a bit more scrutiny than you upon entry. In our case it was not pronounced at all, just a couple of extra questions that I had never encountered myself in many trips in and out of HK.
