bgtp
I was thinking of trying the Siam Beverly on Ratchada next month. Looks nice at about 1000 baht and with the subway nearby, it might be a nice alternative to Sukhumvit. Plenty of entertainment options nearby, too. Anyone have any info regarding guest-friendly or not?
Saiphon
Quite definitely yes. I stayed there in May for 4 nights and had no problems taking girls back, no joiner fee and no request for ID cards. First time I've stayed out in Ratchada and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to taxi in to Cowboy - very few traffic problems at any time except peak rush hour. bgtp
They don't have their own web-site, but most of the usual on-line travel agents offer rooms there. This one is the cheapest I've found so far: http://www.bangkok.thaihoteldiscount.com/siambev.html
